Even if you never needed the services of one the United Way’s member agencies chances are good that you know someone who has, and, by giving we can ensure that those services will be there if we ever need them.
When the 9-11 tragedy happened, the United Way was there. We were there for the Tsunami recovery, the military returning from Iraq needing our assistance and now the “Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund”.
The United Way of Bloomfield is the neighborly way for each of us to show we still care…a way to share what we have help special needs of neighbors…people who live and work in Bloomfield. No one person can meet all these needs alone, but together, by uniting our efforts and money the “United Way” we can help make our community a stronger healthier place to live in.
Our Key Goals are the issues important to the community:
* Nurturing children and youth
* Promoting health for the elderly and disabled.
* Building self-sufficiency for the homeless and disadvantaged.
* Strengthening neighborhoods for families.
The United Way of Bloomfield will meet these needs with your support. Together we can help where “it matters.”
