Scouting is designed to strengthen youth, families and communities through a comprehensive program of healthy youth development. Scouting includes the Tiger Cubs for first graders and an adult partner; Cub in Scouting for boys in grades 1 through 5; Boy Scouting for boys ages 11 through 18; Varsity Scouting – built around sports - for young men 14 through 17; Venturing is for young men and women ages 14 through 20 – emphasizing relationship and team building, leadership and life skills development that are learned from adult leaders. Sea Scouts are part of Venturing. Exploring/Learning for Life helps schools and organizations prepare youth to build confidence, motivation and self esteem.
