COPE provides intervention programs focusing on individual and family counseling to address problems such as substance abuse, family conflict, truancy, depression and anxiety. COPE also provides outpatient drug free treatment for substance abusers. COPE is the lead agency for Essex County Crisis Unit. All referrals are received through the court system. COPE has support groups for people with AIDS, HIV positive or family members.
