The Council’s 1-800-Gambler Help Line provides information and referral. The Council’s outreach and adolescent programs provide information on gambling awareness to over 5,000 High School students and has provided over 100 training sessions to mental health personnel and organizations throughout New Jersey. Compulsive gambling is a treatable disorder. “CARE” for this agency includes the process of education, information, training and treatment referral. For every one compulsive gambler there are at least four others who directly suffer (spouse, children, employer, etc.). Website address 1-800gambler.org
